Tyler Bandy and Chad Miller Win the 2007-08 Adam Smith Prize

The Adam Smith Prize is awarded by the Department of Economics to the winner of the annual paper contest in order to promote and encourage undergraduate writing and research in economics. The paper contest is open to all undergraduate students at Furman University. The winner of the prize receives an attractive Adam Smith medallion and a $100 cash prize. This year's prize goes to Tyler Bandy ('08) and Chad Miller ('08) for their paper titled Illegal Drug Consumption in the United States: An Analysis of the Explanatory Factors of Soft and Hard Drugs. Congratulations Tyler and Chad!
