Kate Myatt
Named Furman Fellow

Furman Fellows awards are $5,000 fellowships presented to five members
of the senior class who have shown an ability to think creatively and
imaginatively, demonstrated innovative problem-solving skills, and
proven that they are capable of making a difference in the world and in
the lives of others. Students are nominated for the fellowships
by faculty and staff. A committee meets over the summer to make
the selections. The awards are made possible through the generosity of
Bob Buckman, a former Furman trustee, and his wife, Joyce Mollerup.
